G i l b e r t x B e i l s c h m i d t x The night was cold enough to where Gilbert could see his breath as he exhaled. He decided to take a walk to calm down. He needed to recover from his recent 'episode.' He was just so angry. Sometimes, he had no clue why. Other times, he knew exactly why and didn't understand why people continued to provoke him and then reprimand him for his reactions. Gilbert closed his eyes and sighed. It was a very beautiful night. The sky was mostly clear, giving way to stars and the moon, not quite full. He relaxed while he walked, happy to leave the chaos of home temporarily behind him. Hopefully, by the time he got back, everyone would be asleep and he wouldn't have to worry about anymore fighting. He wasn't sure if he could handle it anyone. He was trained and violent. While he was easily angered towards his family, he didn't really want to hurt any of them. He would if it was something serious though. He is not above it. Suddenly, a lone tune in the air caught the Prussian's attention. He stopped walking, eyebrows pulling together in concentration as he listened to the still air. A sad tune played off in the distance. It sounded like a violin. Gilbert stepped off the sidewalk and began walking in the grass, soon walking into forestry as he tried to seek out the lovely sound he was hearing. As he continued to follow the sound, the thick mass of trees soon opened up once again. Gilbert slowed in his walking and hesitantly approached what he saw. An old church, reduced to mostly rubble now, stood in the middle of the clearing. Gilbert had no clue this was even back here. He wondered if anyone did. Well obviously one person did since they were right in it. He then wondered if they knew how dangerous it was to stand there when the building only had partial roofing and it could fall any moment. He stepped forward slightly and squinted his eyes to get a better look. He couldn't see the person very clearly, but it looked to be a woman. But then again not... They had short hair and was wearing trousers and a mans shirt and jacket. But that figure... Gilbert shook his head. He still couldn't really tell what they were or who they were since he could only see their backside. He wanted to get closer yet he knew you should always be cautious when it came to approaching strange people in the middle of the woods. Also, he didn't want to disrupt the wonderful music the other was making. Gilbert had never been a very musical person, so he like taking in what he could of the actual musical geniuses in the world. This person really was one. He knew, because he could hear how this person felt as they played. It made him sad to think that this person felt the song, but nonetheless, it was beautiful. Sadness could be very beautiful, but also very maddening. Gilbert could only hope the first was the case for this person. Sad but beautiful.

Roderich♫EdelsteinRoderich needed a place to get away from everything. Somewhere where not even his own kin could find him- that none of his kin would bother to look. He had expected to just start over when coming to America... but he found it perfectly infested with hunter's- both from Ancient clans and wannabes that made better meals than fighters. This is where he found himself- surrounded by falling stone- old- but still in it's infant years in comparison to him- who had walked this earth before the crusades. He had once been a barbarian of a sort... but that was a wrongly coined term. He had just been a simple farm-boy. that was all he could remember- it was so long ago, after all. He knew that he was the oldest currently living in America.. .that he had heard whisper of. Most of the truly old vampires where those of Asia and the Mediterranean. Even those where few and very far between. He had only met one to match his age once in the last five hundred years. He shook his head a little bit. He shouldn't be thinking of such troubling things. He was holding and instrument that he hadn't been without sense he had first picked one up all those times ago- all of the oldest wood engraved by hand... this would be worth thousands by today's standards... but he would never give it up. It was the closest thing he had to something to actually love. A feeling that was wasted on him and lost to his senses. It was meaningless. There was beauty, art, things that would be as eternal as he... and love was not one of them. Running the bow across worn strings he let his body guid the flow of the music- not his mind. it had been a very long time that he had actually played a composed piece. All of his music now was pure frustration and the desperation one would inevitably feel after thousands of years of barely existing on the very skirts of society. Of being hunted and scorned. It didn't bother him all that much in actually. A few minutes into playing he smelt something.. a human. It was late at night- didn't he know any better? He could get killed- there where things prowling around out here.. dangerously hungry things that would give anything for someone as unsuspecting as the approaching man. The Austrian (as he liked to claim himself) man poured even more into his music, slow and haunting melodies painting a picture of his life through his own eyes. Most people would scorn and mock him- most of his kin envy him. Only he know the truth. He was better than all of them- but that made him no different at the same time. Finally he brought it to an end, trilling a low note for many seconds before scooping it up to a higher note to truly end the piece. One he would likely never be able to replicate again. "You know, it is quite rude to approach someone from behind and not make your presence know." His back was still turned to the other and only now did he realize where he was really standing- no more than a few feet away from a crucifix... maybe that was the pain he felt... not from the heart but from his retched making? :#:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~:#::#: :#: :#:

G i l b e r t x B e i l s c h m i d t x Gilbert had lost himself as he listened to the other play. The sound echoed off the trees and it truly calmed the albino. By the time he was jerked back to reality by the man (now identified as such by his voice), he had realized he had leaned against a tree to keep from tipping over in his music induced trance. Now that he was actually addressed, he felt he could step forward a little more, so he did. He was a rather fearless individual so the crumbling building, nor the strange man within its confines bothered him. He shoved his freezing hand into his pockets before stopping a few feet away from some of the rubble. "Maybe. But if I would have bothered you, you'd probably call me rude for interrupting." Gilbert decided this guy talked like an aristocrat, and once this realization dawned on him, he was even more cautious in what he did and how close he got to the other. Aristocrats no longer exist, neither does their way of speaking. Judging by the man's accent, he sounded German. This somewhat surprised Gilbert, but he kept his musings silent. It was just nice to meet someone of, or close to, the same nationality as he was. He still didn't understand why his parents dragged him and his brother to this country, but he was over it now. "What's a little prince like you doing in the middle of the woods at night?"

Roderich♫EdelsteinEven though the Austrian man had just a light jacket on over his button up shirt he didn't appear ruffled or cold in the slightest when a gust of wind picked up the air and ran it across his nearly unfeeling skin. how could he hurt when just standing hear made his skin feel hot- like he was close of a heated flame. He didn't so much appreciate the name 'little price'... even though his more pompous side told him that that was a complement that shouldn't be taken lightly. He scrunched up his nose a little and gently set his violin down, propped up against a half rotting pew. "I could ask you the same, minus a few major details. It's late- what would you be doing out here so late?" Finally he turned to face the other, keeping his eyes level through his wire brimmed glasses that where just for show- they distracted from his... unique color of eyes. He had kept that unique trait from his time as a human, unforgettably. t was odd then and just as so now. He shook his head a little, holding back an ironic, mocking, smile. He hadn't fed in a few days and was just starving. What better way to get diner than all wrapped up and delivered? Although the man's image did throw him off a bit. Handsome- for a human... and very Albino. "You're an odd one..." :#:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~:#::#: :#: :#:

G i l b e r t x B e i l s c h m i d t x Gilbert shrugged at the the man's question. "I'm just going for a walk." He answered softly, looking away from the brunette to appreciate the beauty of the wooded area and the natural decay of the church. He folded his arms over his chest and finally took a step inside the church. He still wasn't close to the other, but he definitely got a better look at him. He had a very pretty face. A very unnaturally pretty face. So Gilbert's suspicions were true. Well... maybe things could be civil. He figured this creature just thought of him as any other human. That was fine by him unless this 'prince' decided to pull something. He raised an eyebrow. "You think I'm odd? How come?"

Roderich♫EdelsteinRodrich wasn't about to accept that answer. no one just randomly goes walking in the middle of the night for no reason. there was always a reason. He bet the human was probably covering up for a pitiful fight at home. Oh, the drama. He truly hated drama- the human kind and the vampire kind. He always strove to get away from it. As he was now forcing himself to walk a little more towards the teen a little more away from that looming cross that he couldn't believe he didn't notice before. It was making his skin crawl and itch- a sensation he had wrote off as simply nothing before now seemed a lot more threatening now that he knew what it was coming from. "Do you have to ask that question?" Hr raised his own slender eyebrow. "I believe that Albinism don't simply appear over night after all." Although... there was something else about this human he couldn't quite put a nail in... :#:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~:#::#: :#: :#:

Roderich♫Edelstein [[22 is a fine age.]] Roderich couldn't help but let slip the mocking smile now. Really... the other was just too amusing... And younger blood was always the sweeter, finer, richer... much better. Blood started to go bad in the thirtieths, he found. "My apologies." He muttered, falling into a slight bow, a habit trained into him that he was probably never going to abandon in the near future. "You are very curious, I must admit... why are you really out here- I know it was not for a walk." This conversation- all conversation- was a dance... and Roderich preferred to lead. :#:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~:#::#: :#: :#:

G i l b e r t x B e i l s c h m i d t x Gilbert pursed his lips. "You don't believe I was out here for a walk? That's almost the same as me saying I don't believe you were out here just to play the violin to the moon. I have no answer for you since I really was out for walk. I don't see why that's so hard to believe." The Prussian ran a hand through his hair as he spoke. He leaned back against a large pile of stone that must have served as the west wall back in its time. "If I were you," His voice dropped a little low, "I would be asking why I was out for a walk. I'll take the initiative. Why were you out here playing to the moon? She's a little far to hear you."

Roderich♫EdelsteinThe brunette rolled his eyes and sighed. He wasn't going to get a strait answer out of this guy, was he? He just shook his head a little and gazed up at the moon at her mention, taking in the glow that, in morning's light would disperse along with himself. Simply dwindle into sweet nothingness as he sunk down trying to hide with the night, always chasing her, the moon. "I was trying to get away from it all my... family aren't being very kind to me, you could say- I am the eldest yet they question everything I say and will not listen..." He sighed... The moon was still high in the sky. He had more than enough time for his kin to worry over his lack of presence- if they even noticed. :#:~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~:#::#: :#: :#:
